Remember Yambara, the cabin made by eco-accommodation startup EYRE.WAY which went quite popular last Christmas. The Australian eco-accommodation company is back yet again with another project. There were already rumors floating in the market about a new eco-cabin coming to the Eyre Peninsula and EYRE.WAY put a halt to these rumors by introducing its second off-grid luxury tiny cabin named Maldhi, which means Night Sky.

Just like Yambara, the immersive tiny cabin is nestled on the edge of a picturesque gully overlooking the coastal cliffs of Sleaford Bay, on the south coast of the Eyre Peninsula. The best part about the tiny cabin is the mesmerizing vista it offers across Sleaford Bay and the gorgeous sight of the night sky. The panoramic views of pure white sandhills separating Port Lincoln National Park from the rugged southern ocean are a beauty to behold.

Situated 100m from a stunningly raw and rugged coastline, it offers both privacy and pleasure to couples who are on their honeymoon period. If you are lucky enough, you might do some whale spotting and may catch sight of Kangaroos hopping all over the place. Aside from the unrivaled views Maldhi offers, the tiny cabin also serves as a perfect abode. There are big windows behind the king sized bed in the mezzanine that let you sight these nature wonders while snuggling in your blanket. The insulated timber structure also features plenty of glazing bringing natural light in.

As far as the interior is concerned, it is inspired by the natural formations and textures found in the environment it is surrounded by. EYRE.WAY mentions that Maldhi, represents a dark and moody color palette, and the cabin combines a variety of contrasting materials and textures, resulting in a look that is both edgy and laid back. All these factors combined, the minimalist luxury cabin exhibits a spacious abode with a lot of daylight.

The cabin features a kitchen equipped with a bar fridge and stone-top breakfast bar also offering panoramic views outside. In addition there is a two-burner gas cooktop and a full-sized sink that allows you to cook your desirable food item. You will have access to all the utensils and other equipment one generally need during the stay. Adjacent to the well-appointed kitchen is the bespoke sofa bed that is cozy and stylist. Not to forget the decadent shower with floor-to-ceiling tiles that let you enjoy a hot bath.

Like aforementioned, it is an off-grid luxury tiny cabin operating on its own solar-battery power system that facilitates reverse-cycle air conditioning, instant gas hot and cold water, bar fridge, and lighting. If you are an internet geek, the cabin is also equipped with High-speed WiFi. If you were impressed by Yambara but didn’t get a chance to book it try Maldhi which can be availed at $450 per night on the official website of EYRE.WAY  and can also be booked via Airbnb.
