Just like any other parent, Sarah, creative lifestyle blogger at Hello Bowsers, also wants to provide all possible amenities to her son. So for some extra comfort, she wanted to purchase a tent-style toddler bed for her little one. But sadly all the teepee beds available online were out of her budget. That’s when she decided to put all her creativity into good use and construct DIY teepee bed.

Although her baby is still too young for moving into a toddler bed, but Sarah just couldn’t get of the idea out of her head. The resulting bed is built from nothing but scratch, including pieces of lumber and some tools. After gathering all the materials together, she fixed the trundle bed and after that created main frame of the bed along with the teepee roof.

The tent roof features small windows boasting hand-painted stars and grass. Beneath the attic section, you can find a sliding hideaway bed that is great for sleepovers. This cozy teepee bed would be any child’s favorite spot to snuggle up in, making them enjoy the virtual feel of camping within their bedroom itself.

Instead of wasting your time in saving money for an expensive toddler bed, you must try this fun project. Moreover, it would be quite affordable as it’s made completely out of discarded wood. You can go through the entire tutorial on Sarah’s blog.
