Nanoleaf has been flooding our homes with modular lighting kits and decorative LED panels year-on-year at the coveted CES in Vegas. Extending its foray into lighting this year, Nanoleaf has now moved to the space outside the home and released its first idea of exterior decorative lighting that should be a festive favorite for outdoor displays this coming season.

For our liking, Nanoleaf has unveiled two options of outdoor lights. These are made for extra visibility outside the house and come in multicolored permanent and string light options. Pretty evident from the names, these lights have different functions to fulfill with the sync-up to an Orchestrator app from the company.

These two light options: Permanent Outdoor Lights and Outdoor String Lights are company first exterior lighting options and are designed to create a light show with music from your choice of playlist using the app.

Presumably, the Nanoleaf Permanent and String Outdoor Lights are designed to work in harmony with the company’s existing range of products for the home. This would allow homeowners to orchestrate colorful light show, with these new outdoor lights, and the modular lights indoors to have one cohesive jazz of lights to freak the onlookers and yourself, of course. The app would let you work with some preset lighting scenes and also extend it to your customized choice.

Like the other lights in the Nanoleaf’s arsenal, the said outdoor lights are Matter compatible for uniformity across compatible formats and are likely to be available in Spring this year. The Nanoleaf outdoor lights should be a viable solution to light up patio, gardens, backyards, and driveways, but how much would you have to shell for this all year round mega lightshow is still under the wraps.
