Every tiny house I see on the internet brings me joy to an extent that I almost feel like owning one. While I keep my finger crossed for that prospect, I will continue gracing your screen with new tiny homes. The tiny house I am discussing today is built by a young kiwi woman, Kacey, who wanted to make a dream home for herself on her family’s traditional farm and it is off-grid.

Kacey created a beautiful, well-designed tiny house that holds a family connection. Surrounded by a gorgeous farm, the tiny dwelling has two entrances and a wrap-around deck area. A lot of heavy timber has gone into the construction of the deck, which gives the entire home a vintage look.

Boating an all-back exterior, the house measures 10x26x14 ft in length, width and height, respectively. The tiny home is off-the-grid and Kacey relies on an impressive solar system for power. There are 16 solar panels and two batteries around the house. The water needs are taken care of by the farm’s own supply.

The interior is well-designed and brushed with dark-accent walls. The living area features a dark wall that is dotted with vintage pictures and frames, creating a gallery wall. In addition, she has adorned her walls with wallpaper that adds a lot of color and vibrancy to the space. There is a pair of beautiful chairs placed next to the gallery wall.

The kitchen is adjacent to the living space. It is equipped with every nitty-gritty essential from an oven and a sink to cabinets to store items. The shiny black backsplash looks gorgeous and the breakfast spot is for two-three people to enjoy the meal. From the fridge and dishwasher to the gas oven with a three-burner up top, everything is so organized and modern.

There is an alley opposite the kitchen with a laundry and wardrobe room, which can be accessed from outside where the aforementioned second entrance to the house is. There is a bathroom next to the laundry room with white and black walls. It also features a stained glass that was given by her mother, Kacey tells Living Big in a Tiny House. There is a full-functioning shower and a flushing toilet.

The lounge area is upstairs with two ventilators that allow natural light to pass in while offering lovely views of the fields outside. There is also a television in the room along with classic novels.

Across the walkway, there is a sleeping loft that features a double bed. However, the major highlight of the bedroom is the shutters that provide a view of the entire space inside the tiny house. This off-grid, modem tiny house by the ocean has a lot of space and vintage vibes to it.
