A get-together has never been this exciting. Today, when every person loves to live in their own world, the Panigiri dining system brings people together over shared meals. A piece of symbolic furniture crafted by the Belgian furniture designer Dirk Wynants, founder of Extremis, this unique outdoor dining system emphasizes a collective gathering in a harmonious and comfortable setting. After all, meals are best shared with like-minded people and loved ones.

Notably, the word Panigiri comes from the Greek words ‘pan’ and ‘giri’ which mean ‘all’ and ‘gathering.’ With a name and concept inspired by the warmth of Greek festivals, this thought-provoking design is crafted to unite the community over a shared meal. The dining table with its extreme length can accommodate a bunch of people. The furniture has a steel and ash wood built, ensuring its longevity.

The outdoor dining system is built around a large table. The table incorporates attached benches to make it more functional. The benches are positioned to make access easier without inviting chaos with a thoughtful space between each bench.

The designer also added a fun concept of ‘Bring Your Own Seat.’ The creative concept is that the seats get fastened to the benches to bring variation and stress the versatility of the furniture. The seats with the backrest are for the support and underline its ergonomics.

The Panigiri Dining System comes in three combinations. The Panigiri Picnic is for more casual seating with attached benches. The Pangiri table has no built-in seats and offers many combinations. The third – Pangiri Combo – combines the form and function of the other two systems to offer a more intimate setting. The product is built to last with natural materials to make it more environmentally friendly.
