I really love Build Tiny. The New Zealand-based tiny house manufacturer has designed some of the most amazing tiny houses on wheels. These tiny houses are so comfy and functional that you’d want to get rid of your regular home and live in one of these. On that note, today we’ll be discussing the River Bank tiny house designed by Build Tiny.
Measuring 23.5 feet long, the River Bank tiny house is built on a double-axle trailer. It is finished in vinyl cladding with double-glazed aluminum windows allowing light to permeate inside. Whenever we talk of Build Tiny, there is not much to report about its exterior, which remains more or less constant in most of its builds. Hence, it’s the interior that ultimately gathers all the limelight.
A glass door welcomes you inside the house that features an interior finished in plywood. Upon entering you’d spot a gorgeous living room to your right. The living room is small yet spacious and comes equipped with a sofa that faces a pegboard panel on the wall. The client actually plans to use the peg storage board as a playground for her cat. So, technically the wall storage will be functioning as cat shelves. Speaking of a cat, the tiny house also includes a cat door to allow easy access and ext to the feline pal.
Adjacent is the kitchen, which isn’t as large as you’d see in an Indigo River Tiny Homes or Movable Roots construction, but isn’t very small either. Occupying a significant space, the kitchen features a folding breakfast bar, a movable cabinet on wheels that conceals a washer/dryer, a sink, a fridge/freezer, a two-burner propane-powered stove, a dishwasher, and a microwave. Opposite the kitchen is the bathroom of the tiny house. Featuring a shower, sink, and a composting toilet, the bathroom is pretty compact yet filled with all the essentials.

The tiny house also has a couple of lofts. Each loft can be accessed via an individual staircase that includes a few storage-integrated steps. The primary, stand-up loft functions as a bedroom and sleeps two people with ease. In addition to a double bed, this loft section includes storage space and a skylight light and air inside.
