Starbucks is reminiscing about summer camping, spent with friends and family, roasting s’mores around a campfire, and wants us to take a nostalgic trip as well. To that end, Starbucks has blended s’mores in a cup with its S’mores Frappuccino blended beverage, returning after six years. First launched in 2015, the S’mores Frappuccino became a quick fan-favorite.
The nostalgic S’mores Frappuccino is returning to the Starbucks menu along with the new S’mores Cold Brew and Iced S’mores Chai, packing childhood treats into an adult beverage. The limited-time summer menu with S’mores is launching nationwide on July 1.
Lisa Beckman, who led the team that first created S’mores Frappuccino over a decade ago, now director of the beverage development team, shared in the press release, “This beverage is not just about recreating the flavor of a favorite treat; it’s about recreating a feeling — the joy of summer connection with friends. Then we brought that idea to life through a delicious Frappuccino, layering flavors and textures to create a multi-sensory and emotional experience.”
Let’s take a look at the S’mores menu at Starbucks:
S’mores Frappuccino
It is a nostalgic fusion of vanilla syrup, coffee, milk, and ice poured over a layer of marshmallow-flavored whipped cream and milk-chocolate-flavored sauce. Finished with a graham crumble topping for the perfect campfire-inspired treat, the S’mores Frappuccino will take you down memory lane.
S’mores Cold Brew With Marshmallow Cold Foam
Offering a twist on the original, this summer beverage is made with smooth Starbucks cold brew topped with marshmallow-flavored cold foam. It is finished with a crosshatch chocolate drizzle and a sprinkle of graham cracker topping for the ultimate flavor bomb.
S’mores Chai
S’mores Chai is part of the Starbucks Chai menu and is made with chai tea infused with cozy spices, blended with notes of toasted marshmallow, milk chocolate sauce, and graham cracker.
Joining the new summer menu are new Mango Strawberry Refreshers, available in classic, lemonade and coconut beverage versions. You can also enjoy the new limited-time Cinnamon Pull-Apart featuring warm, flaky croissant pieces sprinkled with cinnamon-sugar, topped with crunchy streusel to pull apart one bite at a time.
The Starbucks S’mores summer menu is available starting July 1 and is here for a limited time. So, you’d better hurry and savor every bit of nostalgia while you can.
