I am sure you’ve encountered the term, Scandinavian design, at least once in your life. In my personal context, even I’ve been hearing a lot about Scandinavian style of house making and stumbling upon stories where many furniture and tiny house makers have agreed to take inspiration from the much influential style. Today, the tiny house that I bring to fore hails from Scandinavia and has congruity with their much-talked about design style. Sunshine tiny house in Sweden is a modern yet minimalist abode that takes cues from Scandinavian style, yet standalone glossy finished exterior.

Created by Vagabond Heaven, the tiny house measures 6.7m, 2.55m and 4m in length, width and height respectively. The model is based on double-axle trailer and might have got its name after its glossy exterior and bright interior, it vaunts. Boasting spruce and cedar finish, the exterior of the tiny house is similar to many other traditional tiny house on wheels, but the bright interior is what makes the difference.

Easily accommodating two people, it could be a dream home for couples who are planning to downsize. As you step your foot inside the tiny house, you’d enter the living room that features a cozy sofa with planters next to it. A shelving unit lies above the sofa and can be used to store items. There are multiple ventilators that allow light to pass in and making the space look more airy and bright.

Adjacent to the living is kitchen that features a laminated oak countertop and a fridge. The countertop can even function as a table for eating with two chairs already placed there. There is also a gas, induction or electric stove, a sink, and a dishwasher. A lot of some storage space is installed in the kitchen to allow users to stock material. In a nutshell, the tiny house has everything required for a comfortable stay.

Next to the kitchen falls the tiny house bathroom featuring a shower, toilet and sink. Despite all these features, what stood tall to me was storage integrated staircase that leads to the loft bedroom. It is not a fancy bedroom, rather a very traditional one with low ceiling but windows make it appear bright and airy.

The tiny house price starts at $37,000 and even be customized as per your needs. There are even off-grid and add on options available, if you are ready to spend a little more than the base price.
