Paris-based interdisciplinary design studio Aede Studios has designed the Tougarine table lamp that pays tribute to Slavic mythology. The studio disseminates Greek stories and cherishes their cultural heritage through exquisite household designs. To that accord, the Tougarine table lamp is infused with the spirit of Slavic mythology and is inspired by Russian and European influences.
The thoughtful design of the table lamp draws inspiration from a fiery serpent with multiple heads found in ancient folklore of Slavic mythology. The lamp has been designed in the Post-Modern style known for eclectic designs that primarily feature oversized shapes, curved forms, and asymmetrical designs.
The lamp is crafted with cognac-red mahogany wood, which is durable and has less chance of succumbing to decay and corrosion. The wood grain on the lamp body adds a rustic appeal that can be seamlessly incorporated into modern homes. It has a halogen bulb with a dimmable feature that uplifts your room with a warm glow.
