Who needs string lights when you can have an illuminated Yomi armchair to deck up your terrace or patio? Recently exhibited at Maison & Objet 2023, the new Yomi armchair by MOJOW is ideal for any outdoor setting. The chair lights up in the evening and it boasts a timeless design; its luminous aspect makes it an ideal piece of furniture to set the mood right.
A part of MOJOW’s Yomi luminous collection, the armchair is poised on a black metal frame. The metal body supports the inflatable seat that offers comfort and function to the user. MOJOW doesn’t reveal the material used for the seat but does state it to be an ‘eco-responsible product’.
Considering the brand’s history, I assume the material to be Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU) which is a new recyclable, biodegradable, extremely resistant and high-performance material. Designed by Olivier Santini, the illuminated armchair not only adds a festive vibe to your garden/terrace but also looks super when placed inside closed doors. The seat of the chair has a frosted appearance to diffuse the light that has settled in it, thus illuminating it when the sun sets.
