There are so many people out there who have opted for a tiny house on wheels either to enjoy the rolling life on the road or just to live a simpler life. Jessy Muller, a resident of the United States is a good example of the latter; she lives in a self-renovated mobile home to achieve her goal of living as simply as possible.
She bought a 24-foot 1978 Dodge Commander in 2016 and spent over a year revamping it into her dream home. This vintage RV has been updated in all aspects including mechanical, exterior and interiors. Jessy has been traveling with her kitty Moonchi in her renovated RV since 2017.
The RV boasts a 70s-inspired look inside-out. In an interview with Apartment Therapy, she informed that she uses fun items like a macrame, a vintage radio, plaid pillows, and a shag rug to maintain the overall vintage look. She also decks up the motorhome with many things she has made on her own, bought from places traveled to or some family treasures. There’s this Boho- and Hippie-inspired vibe throughout her motorhome!
The interior of the RV is so inviting and comfortable that it feels just like home. Inside, there is a fully equipped kitchen, a dining room featuring ’70s decor and colors, a cozy bedroom surrounded by windows, and a bathroom complete with a shower and composting toilet. She even included a guest bed that can be pulled down from the ceiling when needed.
