Room 2030 is a technology-based startup born from the R&D project led by ArcelorMittal Construction with the aim to build modular, prefabricated housing for the future. The company, in collaboration with the Baragaño Architecture Studio, has come up with modular rooms that can help in smart and sustainable construction. These rooms are not just for resting but also for meetings, events, work or simply to care for yourself.

The first Room 2030 housing module was installed at the Niemeyer Center in Avilés last year. A prototype hotel space was also designed for the NH Collection Avilés hotel as a modular extension to the main building. Modular Architecture, which is done offsite allows greater speed, optimization of resources and a minimum impact on the final site.

Room 2030 aims to improve industrial manufacturing by creating a customizable and competitive smart module in quality and price in its three versions. There are three types of smart modular rooms that can be chosen according to space needs.

This architecture project relates to residential, commercial and hospitality spaces as the modules are highly customizable. Room 2030 is designed under the United Nations Agenda for Sustainable Development 2030 so it would provide more value to people.
