Fernando A. Robert is an exceptional industrial designer known for his expertise in the action sports markets. He has recently designed the Sherman Backpack Pro Race Bag, intended for the velodrome racers to carry the spare set of track wheels. Its design allows the racers to pack sustenance, spare clothing articles, and accessories without having to compromise on space.

While tracking in remote areas, the racers often face the issue of carrying oversized objects such as spare parts of bikes or bicycles. To that accord, the Sherman backpack pro race bag comes into play with its tri-fold expandable design. It allows the racers to carry all the necessary bike accessories along with everyday items.

This backpack might have been designed for the Velodrome racers but it is so much more. Sherman backpack comes with an open-design, wherein it features two flaps outside of the core backpack space. The flap are specifically designed to carry too large and too wide objects that just don’t fit within the four walls of regular bags.

The open design of the flaps accommodates oddly shaped items such as drawing boards, blueprint tubes and spare frames and so much more. Alternatively, you can hang something outside and secure it with a strap.

Carrying extra large objects on your back might seem awkward but in handy while riding a bike or taking items that cannot be folded to fit an ordinary bag. It has come as an easy and simple solution for the bicycle riders to carry the tools and necessary accessories.

You can haul almost everything with StudioFAR‘s Sherman backpack which is the ultimate tool bag. The backpack also has regular compartments to carry laptop, clothes and sustenance. However, it is not ideal for all weather conditions since the open sides are prone to the snow, water and dust, which might damage things you might be carrying in the flaps.
