The future of pool cleaning robots is gradually taking shape. They have not evolved like vacuum robots, which now have mechanical arms, but are slowly becoming smarter, more powerful, and efficient. The latest robot cleaners can climb walls, clean your pool with minimal human effort, and even return to their base for charging autonomously. As we move into the second half of 2025, many brands have already come up with their pool cleaning robots, which we have rounded up for you below:

Beatbot AquaSense 2

Pool cleaner bots are now employing Artificial Intelligence (AI), and the AquaSense 2 Ultra is a prime example. This device uses an AI camera in combination with dual ToF sensors, two infrared sensors, and four ultrasonic sensors to map the pool as well as detect debris on the surface. It can clean pools up to 3,444 square feet in a single cycle, with a battery lasting for five hours. Featuring a dual side brush system and 5,500 GPH suction power, the pool cleaner captures dirt and debris on floors, walls, waterlines, and surfaces, as well as provides a water clarification feature. When the cleaning job is complete or the battery is low, it automatically parks above the water level for user convenience.
