Olev is known for producing unique lamps that mimic natural sunlight and are visually comforting, catering to the user’s well-being. Keeping up with the uniqueness, the company has created the Curuba collection of pendant lamps, which are handcrafted in Italy using ancient Venetian glassblowing technique. These luminaires are mouth-blown to make sure they are finer in their finishing.

Designed by Andrea Lanaro, lighting designer and founder and CEO of Olev, the fascinating Curuba collection is a nod to traditional craft and artisanal craftsmanship. The collection consists of two types of pendant lamps: smooth version and textured balloton glass version. The balloton version of the lamp features a raised honeycomb pattern. On the other hand, the lamp with a smooth glass surface exhibits an exotic vibe, while the elongated shape adds an optical comfort.

Designed with a dual light source, the LED lamp emits a soft, ambient glow that gently directs a diffused radiance downwards. For visual comfort, the light is filtered by the honeycomb anti-glare filter at the bottom.

The lamp’s lower disc has criss-cross knurled engravings that cover and beautify the entire surface for enhanced light reflections. Moreover, these details further define the end of the metal rod extending from the light with knurled engravings.

The metal part of the lamp is hand-painted with liquid, a vivid proof of the artistry that went behind in the lamp’s creation. The Curuba collection of pendant lamps is truly glamorous and suitable for indoor settings such as residential, restaurants, hospitality, and corporate.

Available in different hues, Curuba brings every detail to life and cultivates a relaxing atmosphere. Notably, the lamps are set to grace the exhibition halls of Salone Del Mobile 2025.
