Italian lighting brand Flos, well known for its iconic designs, exhibited its collaborative collections at the ‘The Light of the Mind’ exhibition at EUROLUCE during Milan Design Week 2025. A total of seven new lighting collections designed by Michael Anastassiades, Erwan Bouroullec, Ronan Bouroullec, Konstantin Grcic, Piero Lissoni, and Tobia Scarpa are presented in a set designed by Formafantasma with direction from Nicolo Terraneo.

From bold pendants to sleek floor lamps, Flos made a great impression with standout designs that mix modern tech with artistic style. Using innovative materials and creative shapes, each piece shows the future of lighting.

We will start with Michael Anastassiades’ new Linked collection of modular lights for his eponymous brand. Each module links through a pin system to form a chandelier-style, suspended look. Its mouth-blown glass components are paired with aluminum fittings with hidden LEDs for a minimalist aesthetic.

The exhibition also presented Jam Session, a modular floor lamp system made from polished aluminum with a concrete base. Designed by Lissoni & Partners, each module can be configured with multiple heads at different heights for a feel of a jazz performance.

Next is the SuperWire family of modular lamps designed by FormaFantasma that play on with the illuminating filament of LED bulbs. Each lamp has a hexagonal glass base joined by polished aluminum elements and lit by a custom flat LED strip.

Other highlights include the reissue of Seki-Han wood floor lamp designed by Tobia Scarpa in 1963 and modular glass pendants Luce Sferica and Luce Cilindrica by Ronan Bouroullec, the Maap flexible wall lamp by Erwan Bouroullec and the Nocturne lamps in glass and aluminum by Konstantin Grcic.
