Electric drip coffee makers are a popular choice for home brewing, as they are affordable, quick, and easy to use. While Breville is best known for its espresso machines, the brand is also expanding its drip coffee lineup with the launch of a new model. A clear upgraded version of the previous Precision Brewer, the all-new Breville Luxe Brewer brews finely tuned, craft-quality coffee with the convenience of one-touch automation. It allows you to customize key variables like brew temperature, flow rate, and bloom time to achieve your perfect cup.
The design of the new model closely resembles its predecessor but there are major upgrades such as a redesigned interface, a removable water tank, and dual filter options to suit various brewing skill levels and taste preferences. As highlighted by TechRadar, the 1.8-liter (12-cup) water tank on the Breville Luxe Brewer can be detached from the base, making it easier to fill and clean. This thoughtful feature also helps prevent water spills, a common issue with coffee makers that have fixed tanks.
The Luxe Brewer comes with both cone and flat-bottom filters to match different brewing preferences. Other features include a programmable timer that allows you to set it to start automatically, delivering the perfect brew whenever you like, up to 24 hours in advance.

There are three primary modes: a Gold Cup Standard, Cold Brew, and Custom Brew, which allows you to customize the bloom volume, bloom time, brewing temperature, and flow rate. The custom brew settings can also be saved as a preset for future use.
The Breville Luxe Brewer is available in two versions: one with a glass carafe and one with an insulated double-walled thermal carafe to keep your coffee hot for up to four hours. Each coffee maker also includes an integrated heater plate to keep your brew hotter for up to 6 hours.
The Breville Luxe Brewer is now available, priced at $320 with a glass carafe or $350 with a thermal carafe.
