Taiwanese computer brand Acer is gradually planning to expand its business to projectors, and its latest release follows through. The all-new PD1520s projector is designed to be portable, making it ideal for the mobile lifestyle. Weighing just 1.3 kg and measuring 53 mm thin, this slim and compact projector easily fits into a bag for effortless transportation.
The size of a book, the PD1520s DLP projector delivers 1,200 ANSI lumens of brightness with Full HD (1920×1080) resolution. Its built-in AOSP smart system lets you access your favorite media from various streaming and audio platforms such as YouTube, Netflix, and more. The users can also enjoy wireless projection with screen mirroring and multimedia playback through a USB drive.
The projection size can be adjusted from 37.5 inches (95.3 cm) to 3.05 m (120 inches). The PD1520s projector can display 16.7 million colors and offers 5,000:1 contrast. For added convenience in setup, the projector comes with auto focus, auto 2D keystone, and 4-corner correction features.
Furthermore, there is an 8W built-in Bluetooth speaker for vibrant audio as well as two USB, one HDMI port, and one 3.5mm audio jack for connectivity. The LED laser projection system has a life of up to 30,000 hours.
Measuring 210 mm (8.27″) x 210 mm (8.27″) x 53 mm (2.09″), this smart projector’s portable design lets you pack it up and carry it for movie nights in the living room, backyard, or by the campfire.
Priced at €599 ($680), the PD1520s HD projector will be showcased at Computex 2025 and will be available in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa from July.
