Building on this approach, Wyze has now launched the Cam Pan V4, its first camera with 4K recording, designed for homeowners seeking the highest image clarity for security. Additionally, the Cam Pan V4 offers pan-and-tilt functionality for enhanced coverage from a single camera.
Wyze Cam Pan v4 is much like the Duo Cam Pan but has just one camera that can pan 360 degrees and tilt 180 degrees to cover an entire room. It is weather-resistant (IP65), so it works indoors and outdoors.
It uses a smart chip for AI tracking that recognizes people, pets, and cars. With motion and sound detection, the camera automatically follows movement with customizable priority, making it an ideal pet camera and home security camera. It also has a motion-activated spotlight and a built-in siren for added security.
The camera’s field of view covers a wide area: 105.4 degrees diagonally, 88 degrees horizontally, and 46 degrees vertically, meaning it can see most of the room from a single spot.
