Sunseeker, a leading innovator in robotic lawn care solutions, today announced advances to its robotic mowing technology and expanded its product lineup. The company launched the L3 robotic mower at IFA 2025, alongside showcasing its X5 model, each highlighting the brand’s mission to revolutionize outdoor maintenance through precision, intelligence, and ease of use.
The first of the two launches, Sunseeker L3, integrates advanced LiDAR + Vision AI technology for precision mowing. The robotic lawn mower comes equipped with a 360-degree 3D high-precision LiDAR sensor and an AI-powered camera system. Combined, these factors help L3 deliver intelligent omnidirectional obstacle avoidance and collision-free operation, adapting seamlessly to complex terrains.

The Sunseeker L3 lawn mower also boasts ‘Drop-to-Go’ technology, which ensures setup is instant with no boundary wires, no antennas needed. The L3 achieves millimetre-level accuracy for optimized path planning, ensuring every pass is efficient and thorough. Meanwhile, its ‘Perfect Edge Cutting System’ delivers crisp trimming along lawn boundaries, eliminating the need for manual touch-ups.
The biggest downside of any traditional lawn mower is its inability to handle slopes. That is not to be the case with L3, which is engineered for versatility. The Sunseeker L3 handles slopes of up to 22 degrees and adapts to varied terrain with its floating deck and dual-wheel drive. The lawn mower comes with a built-in rain sensor that ensures mowing schedules remain weather-smart, while its ultra-quiet operation provides a truly hands-free, hassle-free experience.

Besides unveiling L3, Sunseeker also showcased X5 lawn mower at IFA 2025. The X5 integrates the AONavi Positioning & Navigation System (RTK-GNSS + Visual SLAM) and Vision AI obstacle avoidance, thus being capable of recognizing and avoiding over 200 objects in real-time. The X5’s All-Wheel Drive system, combined with independent suspension, enables the lawn mower to climb up to 30-degree slopes, making it suitable for both suburban yards and challenging terrain.
The X5 lawn mower also features a dual-blade floating cut system and intelligent path planning, which helps deliver a healthy, uniform lawn with minimal grass stress. Additional features include multi-zone app-based control, auto-recharge, rain sensors, and IPX5 waterproofing, all leading to enhanced user experience. There is no word on the price and availability, but we expect both models to go live before this year’s Black Friday.
