Halloween is a time when people go crazy with their creativity, reflected in their favorite horror themes. But there are such die-hard horror fans who make the gore and spook their home. A case in point is this family home in Lynn Haven, Florida. At first sight, this house looks like a cookie-cutter picture-perfect dwelling with its pewter color and 1950s suburbia vibes. On the outside, it has a Christmas vibe, but inside, it harbors craziness with its perpetual horror-themed interior, living in a permanent state of Halloween.
Lucas and Sarah, a couple, transformed the place after it sustained damage from a hurricane into a bold, individualistic statement. In a YouTube video, Lucas explained that the 1957 house had good bones but needed a shot of personality with a dash of eerie. The three-bedroom, two-bathroom residence breaks all the unspoken rules of regular home décor.

It is an unassuming 1,378 square feet of spectacle and surprise. The house interior incorporates vivid details, including a blood-spattered bathroom, skeletons, and skulls strewn about throughout the space. Now, you’d think, who would want to live in such a place? Well, the house has been passed down through a couple of families ever since its transformation. Evidently, people do want to live in a themed home, which has its own style.
Through creativity and much work, it has become a fun and functional dwelling for many people. You will find circuit board flooring in the sci-fi room and the faux stone and wood trim in the medieval fantasy-style tavern, and so much more. Every room is designed to inspire creativity, whether you want space for work, play, or creativity.
Even the kitchen exudes a macabre charm with its red and black palette. The bathroom looks like a gory murder scene. The family home with horror-themed interior has a “Phobia” room with cut off hands, inspired by the movie Labyrinth, to inflict nightmares.
If you are a Halloween fan and wish to live in a perpetual horror story, you could learn a thing or two from this unusual family home.
