Jeep campers have been part of outdoor culture for decades, owing to Jeep’s off-road abilities that let you explore rough, two-track trails others cannot reach. Recently, we featured the Awning and Rooftop Tent from Jeep Performance Parts at Overland Expo West. Now, Colorado Campervan has introduced a new “wedge-style” pop-up sleeping topper for the 4-door Jeep Wrangler in production from 2007 to date. What sets it apart from other products is its innovative interior access design.
This rooftop camper will be made and sold by an independent subsidiary called Two Track Campers, which justifies its name. Colorado Campervan owner Derek Weber partnered with Jeep expert Luke Burgess to acquire the design from Action Campers in Borrego Springs, California.
Weber said, “Luke’s industry knowledge combined with my 25 years of van experience makes us excited to bring this rugged product to the market. These camper tops are tough and provide Jeep owners with a bed spacious enough for two adults to sleep comfortably.”
Luke told Homecrux, “You do not need to get out of the vehicle to open the camper. The latches for the camper are located above the front seats, when you get to camp you unlatch the camper and push it open. You access the camper from the front seats, that give you the ability to build out the back of the Jeep any way you want and it will not affect the ability to access the camper.”
The Two Track Campers top will replace the OEM Jeep Wrangler top easily using the original mounting hardware and holes. The top features a low-profile design that adds just seven inches over the factory top. It offers rugged functionality without compromising the Jeep’s iconic silhouette.
The entire exterior shell of the camper topper is made from fiberglass to ensure weather resistance and durability. The tent is crafted from nylon canvas and features three tri-layer windows that can be fully zipped off to provide complete access to the outdoors.

Its clamshell-style roof opens to reveal interior access both above the driver compartment and through the rear seating area. This unique design allows you to open the camper from the inside, so you can open it in a rainstorm without stepping outside and getting wet.
The bed platform has a breathable design, and a 3-inch-thick mattress measuring 53 x 86 inches is included. Opening the Two Track Camper top is simple; you unlatch it from inside the Jeep and push it open for quick access.
