Halloween is a joyous and festive occasion where people flaunt their spooky costumes and enjoy pumpkin flavored cuisine. Houses are adorned with eerie spiders and witches as early as September. But some fanatics make preparations way early. A British teenager engulfed his entire home in cobwebs and spider decorations over a month in advance.

Hailing from East Bergholt village in the Babergh district of Suffolk, England, Adam Wright, 18, started preparations for Halloween since 22 September. And it’s not his first time; he is doing for an eighth year in a row.

He decorated his house and the garden with Halloween decorations that comprise of a large number of skeletons, ghosts and cobwebs. He started his spooky surprise in advance to raise money for the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance Charity.

He said that he wanted to double up the amount gathered through this preparation compared to the previous year. He sold all the decorations he had before and bought new ones with the money he got after selling them and is planning to buy three more sizable decorations by 31 October.

He has already hung up 12 brand new large decorations that includes giant skeletons. The decorations are enormous! Wright mentioned while explaining, “This is twice the size. I don’t think my dad is happy about it but I’m happy about it.”

According to Wright, creating a display like this reduces his stress and helps with his mood. Some of these Halloween decorations are animatronics as in they move and make noise which adds more to its eerie vibe and makes it realistic. He is not going to rest after this massive display of horror-themed decorations. He is planning the same for Christmas celebrations this year and hoping to make it bigger than before.

When asked about how he funds his intense dedication and fondness for such bold display, he mentioned that he runs a small business and get the necessary funds which he invests in the Halloween decorations. Best thing is that it not only shows Wright’s passion but also shows his compassion for people in need. It’s for a noble cause and not just any unnecessary larger-than-life display that feels like a plain show off.
