If you browse through the AeroPress website, you’ll generally come across its signature coffee makers, filters, and a few accessories designed to complement the AeroPress system. That’s because, for the past two decades, AeroPress has focused solely on its iconic coffee maker and related accessories. For the first time now, the brand is venturing into the coffee grinder market, and the product it’s banking on is called the AeroPress Manual Coffee Grinder.

First reported by Sprudge, the AeroPress Manual Coffee Grinder is designed to be compatible with the AeroPress brewer. According to the company’s press release, the grinder is compact enough to fit inside an AeroPress, making it an ideal travel companion for coffee enthusiasts and professionals alike.

But that’s not all. The AeroPress Manual Coffee Grinder boasts an independent array of features, including 60 ground settings, a 25-gram bean capacity, and titanium-coated conical burrs, the latter of which makes it a durable and dependable choice. Besides its sleek, compact build, the AeroPress coffee grinder features a handle, which T3 points out “essentially looks and acts like a hand crank.” The magnetically attachable grinding lever snaps securely onto the body when not in use, minimizing bulk and noise while on the move.

The AeroPress Manual Coffee Grinder is now available for $200 on the AeroPress website and Amazon store. However, compared to other grinders on the market, this one clearly sits on the premium end. Admittedly, the price comes as a surprise, and the early reviewers and commentators have aptly pointed that out. Nevertheless, if you are a devoted AeroPress fan seeking a high-quality, portable grinder, this could be the perfect addition to your coffee gear.
