If you carry a knife every day, you know how important it is to have one that feels comfortable and cuts sharply. Built around the simple idea of a knife that feels powerful, cuts cleanly, and doesn’t draw unnecessary attention, the Knight Fang Knife is a standout choice for everyday carry.

Created by Edge Craft Japan, a small Japanese knife maker focused on clean design and everyday performance, the Knight Fang Titanium Knife is currently available for preorder through a Kickstarter campaign.

Built to last, the Knight Fang has everything from the blade to the handle finished in matte black. The finish provides the knife with a minimal but intimidating look, which really uplifts this EDC from just being passed as decorative and playful. It is designed for serious users who prefer style and precision and want the work done without fuss.

The all-arounder Knight Fang is capable of handling a range of tasks from slicing food, preparing firewood, and tearing through heavy-duty packaging. This versatility is provided by the knife’s forged D2 steel construction, which is reinforced with titanium plating. This combination of materials enhances the knife’s corrosion resistance and minimizes wear over time.

From the user standpoint, the Knight Fang weighs 97 grams and measures 8.6 inches (21.8 cm) in length. The lightweight EDC can fold and features a secure pocket clip for easy carry. The folding knife becomes really effortless to use with its smooth one-hand opening mechanism and liner lock for quick access and a solid lock-up.

In its campaign information, Edge Craft Japan notes that the Knight Fang features a titanium coating and that each unit is individually inspected to ensure smooth action and locking reliability. This assures the care and perfection with which the Knight Fang will be delivered to you when it begins shipping in April 2026.

The knife’s entire feel resides in the handle and its weight distribution. The handle of the Knight Fang is ergonomically designed with a non-slip grip, so it stays secure even when wet or when you’re using it with gloves on.

Knight Fang Titanium EDC Knife is currently 30% off its retail price and available on preorder for under $80 on Kickstarter. At that price point, it should cut through the share of many titanium-plated EDC knives currently on the market.
