Unlike the traditional plastic-handled versions made from Cellidor thermoplastic, these Alox models feature punched aluminum scales that offer real durability advantages and a slimmer profile while maintaining serious grip. Starting with Pioneer X, it stands out as one of Victorinox’s best all-around multi-tools. The Evoke represents a departure from traditional Swiss Army Knife design. Rather than a multi-tool, it’s a dedicated folding knife with a 3.87-inch drop-point blade, thumb stud for one-hand opening, back lock mechanism, and paracord lanyard. At 0.4 lbs and 5.4 inches closed, it carries more heft than its siblings but offers the kind of modern features that appeal to those who want a serious cutting tool backed by Swiss precision.
According to Victorinox, the Glacial Blue colorway “evokes the serene power of Alpine ice. The Alox Limited Edition 2026 collection is available now directly from Victorinox. Pricing runs $48 for the Classic SD, $82 for the Pioneer X, and $140 for the Evoke.
