The BE@RBRICK speakers, distinguished by their iconic figurine forms, received a new version that focuses on a simple color palette rather than flashy finishes found in many earlier limited editions. The Japanese company Medicom Toy and Ukrainian Rinaro Isodynamics have introduced the Core Release of the famous 400% Bluetooth speaker in Black and White variants for seamless blending into any interior.
Each speaker comes with a complete transparent body, including the head and legs, making the internal parts visible for a layered aesthetic. The choice of color takes the bear’s sculptural form as the main highlight of the design.
As announced by the brand, Ukrainian audio engineers have spent 20,000 hours improving the earlier versions, including the Mickey Mouse-Themed Portable Speaker made in collaboration with Disney last year. The team has cleverly incorporated about 214 newly-designed parts into the fixed dimensions of the 400% BE@RBRICK figurine, rarely done by any premium speaker company.
Another cool highlight is the user-replaceable battery, allowing you to repair the speaker itself whenever its battery dies in the future. This simple design addition ensures the collectible speaker remains functional for years.
As for the audio specs, the new speaker has the same QUAD’360 omnidirectional sound technology with four custom-engineered acoustic drivers in the BE@RBRICK’s head. The speaker retains the mechanical interaction feature, enabling control over the volume and track selection by twisting its arms. The battery also has the same capacity of up to six hours and can be recharged in 1.5 hours.

The BE@RBRICK AUDIO Core Release combines Japanese designer culture and Ukrainian acoustic engineering, highlighted with a simple, sophisticated colorway. It works like a collectible art piece using specialized audio engineering rarely found in lifestyle speakers. Slated for availability after March 12, 2026, it is sure to come at a premium price, owing to its eye-catching silhouette and clever engineering.
Earlier this year, Spotify x Liquid Death Urn speaker followed a similar design language by opting for a unique form, but many reported it be just a marketing gimmick. The major difference lies in the functionality of the bear-shaped speaker, which also resonates with the ongoing trend of humanoid forms entering our homes.
