Starbucks aims to please coffee and music lovers simultaneously with its relaunch of the famous Unicorn Frappuccino. But there is a catch. The drink will only be available at Coachella and for a few hours each day of the festival. So you might need to change your plans if you are not already headed to Coachella to get this vibrant drink.
Right now, Matcha is all the rage at Starbucks, but a long time ago, Frappuccinos were the darlings. The viral, vibrantly hued, flavor-shifting, color-changing Unicorn Frappuccino was first launched in April 2017. The whipped, blended concoction that tasted the perfect marriage of milkshake and coffee hadn’t been seen since then, until now.
Announcing its partnership with Coachella 2026 as an official sponsor, Starbucks dropped the news of the return of the Unicorn Frappuccino. The Unicorn Frappuccino Blended Beverage will be back at the music festival and will be available during the festival for a very limited window.
For those uninitiated, the Starbucks Unicorn Frappuccino Blended Beverage is known for its eye-catching colors, surprising mango flavor, and pink-and-blue sour swirl. With its stunning colors and delectable flavors, the drink’s hype is understandable.
As Coachella’s official coffee, tea, and Refreshers sponsor, the coffeehouse is bringing its signature experience to one of the most anticipated cultural moments of the year with its wildly anticipated drink. Across the festival weekends (April 10-12 and April 17-19), Starbucks will provide space to festivalgoers to connect, recharge, and enjoy handcrafted beverages.

Erin Silvoy, senior vice president of global marketing at Starbucks, says in the press release, “Music has always been a powerful connector at Starbucks, and Coachella brings people together through music, creativity and self-expression. We’re excited to make our Coachella debut in a way that feels authentic to who we are, creating welcoming spaces where people can pause, connect and enjoy great coffee while being part of the music that brings everyone together.”
Aside from the return of the Unicorn, the coffeehouse will serve a rotating lineup of complimentary drinks, including Starbucks Cold Brew, Iced Matcha Latte, and Strawberry Acai Refresher. So if you happen to go to Coachella this year, be sure to try this iconic drink, because a third chance to enjoy this may just be as rare as spotting an actual unicorn.
