Signify continues to position the Philips Hue lineup as a premium, hub-based smart lighting ecosystem with advanced customization features. However, the market now includes many affordable alternatives from brands like Govee and Nanoleaf. To counter these affordable competitors, the company has expanded its separate Philips Smart Lighting range with five new products for 2026, offering more affordable ways to personalize home lighting.

One of the biggest benefits is that these products no longer require a dedicated Zigbee bridge hub. Instead, they operate over Wi-Fi using the WiZ smart home platform and app. You now have more lighting choices, including different LED strips, portable accent lights, and table lamps, to easily customize and expand your lighting setup.

A major highlight of the expanded lineup is the Philips Smart Lighting HDMI Sync Box 2.1, which brings screen-reactive lighting to users without the high price tag of its premium Philips Hue ecosystem. It syncs the lighting in real time with movies, games, and other content played through connected HDMI devices. The colorful lighting extends beyond the screen to create a more immersive experience.

The Sync Box is exclusively available as part of a complete kit, which includes a matching TV backlight strip designed to fit different screen sizes. It is available in two kit options designed for 55-65-inch TVs and 75-85-inch TVs. The Sync Box supports HDMI 2.1 with 4K at 120Hz. Forbes notes, the pricing starts at £129.99 for 55-inch to 65-inch TVs, while the larger 75-inch to 85-inch version costs £149.99, with availability starting this month.

The expanded collection also includes gradient floor lamps and light bars that bring colored illumination to walls and surfaces for a more dynamic experience. They will be available with pricing ranging from £59.99 to £84.99, depending on the model.

The company is also launching expanded LED strip options, including RGB, RGBIC, and Neon flexible strips. You can choose from different lengths ranging from 3-20 meters in Europe, while UK models start at 5 meters. The prices begin at £23.99. The new Squire Lite table lamp has been launched, in black or white for £34.99, while a new Smart Dial Switch costs £24.99.

Apart from the Philips Smart Lighting HDMI Sync Box 2.1, all other products in the expanded lineup are scheduled to launch in June 2026 across Europe, North America, and select global markets.
