Mexican designer lighting brand Bandido is known for experimenting with unusual materials, and its DBH 02 lamp collection, launched in 2022, beautifully showcases its handcraft focused design approach. For 2026, Bandido has expanded that line with a new table lamp and two material options that provide a unique way to experience light. The newly added Beige Maya Marble variant anchors the emitted light and organizes it within the space.
The core design concept of the DBH 02 collection revolved around how natural stone absorbs, transforms, and transmits light through its mineral veining, casting a warm, continuous, and calming glow into a room. Apart from illumination, these lamps reveal their history in the formation of their material.
The expanded lineup includes the DBH 02 Table Lamp that maintains the original silhouette of the collection. It comprises a body of natural stone materials containing an opal glass sphere that diffuses the emitted light, while a brass plate is included between the sphere and the body for contrast. Previously confined to wall sconces and pendant fixtures, the collection now offers more ways to interact with living surfaces.
The collection is also expanded with a new material in the DBH 02 Sconce Lamp I and DBH 02 Sconce Lamp II. Both of them feature a body made of beige Maya marble that contains two opal glass spheres, which trap the emitted light within. Like the previous versions, a brass plate positioned between the spheres and marble adds an elegant material contrast to the design.

Every piece features a hand-carved stone body, either in San Luis Onyx or Beige Maya Marble, paired with an internal brushed brass screen and spherical opal glass diffusers. Bandido has used two different natural stones to create a visually appealing contrast.
The DBH 02 lighting collection explores the rhythm of light through translucent natural stone and metal. Originally conceived from a deep-dive study into the properties of Mexican onyx, the collection has grown to include wall sconces, table lamps, and pendant lights in 2026.
