Danish audio brand Canvas HiFi is bringing its latest Canvas L model to 2026 High End Vienna, which shows the popularity of single-box sound systems. Combining hi-fi sound quality with sleek aesthetics, it utilizes traditional soundbar form to house a high-fidelity audio system that seamlessly blends into modern living spaces. What makes the audio system stand out is its ability to sit right underneath the TV, or you can use it standalone as per your needs. Apart from delivering hi-fi sound, it acts as a piece of high-end Scandinavian furniture.
Canvas HiFi is marketing it as the world’s first audiophile soundbar, and that is because of the audiophile-grade components on the inside. Built upon the earlier Canvas HiFi Frame model, it is not just big in terms of size; it also comes with upgraded hardware architecture to deliver more powerful output.
The latest Canvas L model is equipped with a custom-made 3-inch midrange driver, 8-inch woofers, an SB Acoustics tweeter module, and an additional pair of 8-inch passive radiators for high bass performance. The speaker uses BACCH 3D+ technology to deliver enhanced spatial soundstage from a speaker placed under the TV.
Each soundbar unit pumps out 1,500 Watts of peak power compared to the original model’s 1,000 Watts driven by GaN (Gallium Nitride) amplification. Operating as an active two-channel stereo system, the CANVAS L uses individual, high-power amp channels for every single driver (2x300W for woofers, 2x200W for midranges, and 2x50W for tweeters).
Lewis Empson of What Hi-Fi notes that the soundbar also supports a room correction feature that is one of the most wanted features targeted at audiophiles. It simply needs to listen to the sound in any room for one minute through the companion app and then automatically optimizes the sound performance for that space.

The design has also been updated with an 8.4-inch wide cabinet and an updated TV mount. The soundbar comes with a choice of magnetic grilles to blend with your home decor, including wood and fabric. You can now choose from TVs from 65 to 115 inches. CANVAS L is suitable for those who want hi-fi sound in a simple one-box setup that ensures a minimalist look in combination with the TV, or those who do not prefer floor-standing loudspeakers in their living room.
It will be premiered globally on June 4th at High End in Vienna and is expected to be available in Q4 2026. There are no official pricing details, but Brian Mitchell of Ecoustics expects them to cost around €5,999 ($7,000), which includes front panel, hybrid floor/wall bracket, and universal TV bracket.
Previously, DALI has also launched a similar kind of VEGA Hi-Fi speaker housed in a single cabinet.
