Danish lighting brand Tom Rossau presents an immersive exhibition of handmade lamps crafted from birch and other responsibly sourced materials at 3daysofdesign 2026. Titled Østergade, the exhibition runs from June 10-12 and features new product launches, including the new TR44 model. Much like its earlier creations, this lamp flaunts a sculptural design through thoughtful craftsmanship. It is not an ordinary lighting fixture but a statement piece for homes or offices.
The brand cites the new TRA4 as a modern interpretation of two classic Tom Rossau designs. It combines the soft, sculptural character of its bestselling TR7 with the clear elegance of the TR4. Crafted exclusively in birch, the TR44 brings together the best of both designs in a refined silhouette.
Created with modern techniques and craftsmanship at its core, the TR44 is designed for warm atmospheric light while making a strong visual statement from every angle. Unveiled as part of its 20th anniversary collection, it is available as a floor lamp and a pendant in both small and large sizes.
With a strong focus on quality and responsible production, these wooden lamps aim to bring Danish design to interiors around the world. By transforming wood strips into sculptural lighting pieces, the brand brings a fresh perspective on material use in the lamp design industry. Its designs are achieved through advanced wood manipulation and circular design principles.

This birch wood lamp upholds the brand’s design philosophy of a separate identity in natural daylight and transforming into a functional object when the shape and material are lit from within.
As part of the exhibition, visitors will be able to experience several Tom Rossau lamps in a variety of room settings and curated installations. The showcase offers a rare opportunity to experience how the designs interact with different spaces and atmospheres in real time. Additionally, guests can watch production happen firsthand during the exhibition.
