Bürstner has expanded its flagship Signature series, launched last year, with a new SMT motorhome built on a Mercedes-Benz chassis. Following up on the requests from the users, the company has finally paired its innovative transforming design with the Mercedes chassis for the series. As the company describes, “The combination brings together the driving comfort and advanced technology of Mercedes-Benz with the innovative living concepts that define the Signature range.”
As revealed on social media, the new model will be premiered at Caravan Salon 2026, so full specs will also be revealed there. For now, a few key details are available on the official website, which includes exterior, interior, and integrated technology. The motorhome measures 24 x 7.4 x 9.1 feet and offers a 3,500 kg weight capacity. One more feature to mention is the 6.5 feet of standing room inside the motorhome, which can be a deciding factor for many travelers.
In other details, the motorhome comes in white and stone grey paint finishes, so you have the choice to decide the overall look from the outside. The exterior design is distinguished by a shiny appearance and a rear end made of GRP with a unique LED taillight signature. The motorhome variant with a drop-down bed comes with the exception of a raised roofline at the front.
The Signature SMT is available in four layouts, and you can choose from single beds or a queen-size bed, each optionally available with an overcab drop-down bed. It can also be optionally equipped with a diesel heating system and an induction hob. Adding to the luxury, this RV gives users access to the Mercedes MBUX multimedia system with intuitive voice control, which is exclusive to cars from the Mercedes-Benz Group.

The swivel bench seat, sliding bathroom, and a thoughtfully designed kitchen with extendable worktop and refrigerated drawer are some of the main interior highlights. The cabin also benefits from a continuous floor, ambient lighting, integrated acoustic fabric walls, and a panoramic roof window. Furthermore, the motorhome comes with advanced driver assistance systems, including Crosswind Assist, and offers extensive personalization options to make the RV match to your personality.
Bürstner seems to be retaining the complete interior style of its Signature series, including the optional electrically retractable shelf in the kitchen and sliding door in the bedroom for privacy. The idea of integrating moving wall partitions makes the living space feel as open as possible while also allowing for instant privacy when needed.
If wanting to know more about the hidden and upgraded interior features of the Signature SMRT motorhome, you will have to wait until the event in August.
