One feature common in 2026 kitchen design is built-in appliances that let homeowners ensure a clean look. This approach of concealing appliances behind cabinetry is trending, and the consumer electronics giant Samsung is also following the same approach through its wide lineup of ranges and microwaves. Joining their existing lineup of built-in appliances are the all-new Slide-in Ranges and Over-the-Range Microwave that aim to elevate everyday cooking with thoughtful design and auto connectivity. What makes them unique is that they can be easily pulled out for cleaning or repairs while still offering the high-end look of a built-in appliance.
The built-in range features an upgraded Air Fry Max mode that requires no preheating. It combines high temperatures and powerful convection fans to deliver crispy results up to 15 percent faster than previous generations. This results in even baking and Air Sous Vide, which uses precise heat and airflow to help lock in flavor and moisture for gourmet cooking results at home.
Samsung is introducing both electric and gas models of the Slide-in Range to accommodate different cooking preferences. The electric ranges feature a 3.6 kW Express Boil cooktop with dual-ring elements that help accommodate a variety of cookware sizes, while the gas models come with a powerful 23K BTU Dual Power Burner that ensures fast cooking.
The new Slide-in Ranges feature the same handle design found on Samsung’s 2026 refrigerator lineup so that you can create a unified aesthetic throughout the kitchen. Additionally, the illuminated knobs provide clear visual feedback that the cooktop is in use, while the built-in display makes it easy to view and adjust cooking settings. Samsung also added a premium touch through its Soft Close Door that closes smoothly and quietly, offering a refined experience in the kitchen.
Samsung’s new Over-the-Range Microwave with Air Fry Max is designed to complement the Slide-in Ranges both functionally and aesthetically. It combines 950W microwave power with true Convection Cooking to roast and bake evenly. The 1.7 cu. ft. capacity and an easy-to-clean Ceramic Enamel interior are some other important features.

The Slide-in Range and Over-the-Range Microwave can work together when paired via the SmartThings platform, which wirelessly syncs the two appliances for an intuitive cooking experience. For example, when the cooktop is turned on, the Microwave automatically activates its light and ventilation hood. This improves visibility and airflow while reducing the need for manual adjustments.
In terms of overall value, these kitchen appliances not only bring premium design upgrades but also smart features like auto-connectivity that seem highly practical for modern kitchens. Furthermore, the Air Fry Max feature in both appliances gives users great flexibility, allowing for oil-free cooking without much clutter on the countertop.
This Samsung duo will seamlessly fit into a modern kitchen, enhancing aesthetics, saving valuable floor space, and improving everyday workflow. There are plans to roll out the new Slide-in Ranges and Over-the-Range Microwaves across North America in mid-July.
