With the chimes of high technology, it is no surprise that home monitoring systems have advanced beyond your digital thermometers. Now, it is all about the collective approach to measuring your home’s internal environment, and this entails a range of categories including temperature, air quality, barometric pressure, humidity, light and even noise levels. CubeSensor does all of that and that too with its conveniently integrated wireless technology. Contrived by the Slovenia based company, the conception in question is actually a small 2-inch cube which is loaded with sensors. On a functional level, it collects all the home environment related data and then remotely sends it (via Wi-Fi) to your net based cloud, to be accessed through your phone or computer.

The data which is collected can entail various scenarios to improve the nature of your home’s physical environment. For example, it can be related to the adequate illumination in a room, or the efficiency of cross-ventilation on opening a window. Users can also access the long term data to find out any improvement in their home condition, or even set an activation criteria on which the device promptly sends its data to your cloud. These criteria can involve excess heat or light affecting the internal environment.

Finally, coming to its working scope, each wireless CubeSensor is juiced by rechargeable batteries, and can work in a network with other specimens (which can be further shared as a group, like in an office). The portable devices however do require a connective station for their daily operations.

Price:  $249 for a set of two cubes and a base station, or $349 for a set of four cubes and a base station.
