Treehotel in Sweden offers a unique lodging experience in elevated treehouse rooms. The hotel has commissioned Norwegian architecture firm Snøhetta for the newest addition to the property. The firm has designed an elevated structure that stands 10-meter above the ground, which maximizes views. Dubbed 7th Room, it sits on 12 steel poles to lower load on the tree that pierces through the cabin.

A staircase takes guests up to the treehouse that covers 100-square-meter of space, out of which 55-square-meter is used as a living area. It has charred timber panels on the exterior and aluminum sheet printed with photos of trees above that create a feeling of camouflage on the bottom.

The treehouse cabin has two bedrooms, a social lounge area, bathroom with toilets and shower, and an open-air terrace. It is spacious enough to accommodate up to five guests at a time. There are large windows and a netted terrace with glass windows on all sides to ensure full connection with nature. Its interior design is based on Scandinavian wood and textiles.

There is also a restaurant, bar, sauna and relaxation area, TV, and internet access on the property. Other cool features are custom lighting designed by Ateljé Lyktan and large windows in all living sections.

As you climb onto The 7th Room treehouse cabin, you will be closely gazing at the clouds and nature around. Up to five people can rent the treehouse for 15,000 SEK ($1,550) per night on Treehotel.
