Tripp Trapp Convertible High Chair Grows with Your Child

Little kids are often seen struggling while dining. Scandinavian designer Peter Opsvik realized something similar happening with his son back in 1972 and therefore decided to change the design of infants’ high chair and finally came up with the Tripp Trapp convertible high chair. This is one and only kind of design that can be used from the time of you infancy till the time you become an adult, keeping you secure as well as relaxed throughout.

The designer created the chair in such a way that the seat and the footrest could be adjusted to the size of the child from an infant of about six months to adulthood. His thoughtfulness could make even a little kid comfortably dine together with his/her parents on the same table by simply sliding the seat right up to the table.

This excellent design won various awards and was also chosen as the signature piece at MoMA’s 2012 exhibition ‘Century of the Child.’

It is constructed out of cultivated beechwood, hence the product is strong and durable, capable of holding over 300 pounds.

The Tripp Trapp chair measures 31 inches high,  19 1/4 inches deep, and 18 inches wide and ranges from $45 to $310.
