Snöbär Chair Mimics a Cluster of Snow berries

Looking like a design out of some fantasy reverie, here is the ‘Snöbär’, a delectable chair conception. Snöbär in Swedish translates to Snowberry (scientifically termed as Symphoricarpos), a cluster of white colored fruits native to the American continent. Of course, the design of the chair also mimics this ‘soft’ cluster of berries, which contributes to that uniquely fluffy, mushroom-like shape to the seating mechanism.

According to Yonder Magnetik – the firm behind this design – the term Snöbär is a play on the word, shape and the materials used for the construction of the chair. In this context, the support structure of the chair is crafted from oak, which is known in the carpentry industry as a hard resistant-wood. This level of sturdiness is in direct contrast with the presumed softness of the snowberry replicating cushions. Unfortunately, we do not have the details of the cushion materials used for this fluffy texture.

Now, beyond the form factor, the Snöbär has a pretty flexible usability pattern. The overall affable essence of the chair makes it a novel decor item for your living room. On the other hand, the comfortable looking cushion also makes it a handy companion for your outdoor resting and sleeping ‘binges’ beneath the backyard shades.
