Danish manufacturer Fritz Hansen partners with the Copenhagen-based fashion brand ANOTHER ASPECT to unveil a limited collection that brings furniture and sustainable textiles together. The collection transforms archived textiles into furniture pieces while highlighting the reuse of materials. The collection is an example of how one brand’s leftovers can become another’s essentials and enhance circularity.
The ANOTHER ASPECT x Fritz Hansen collaboration reimagines the iconic Fritz Hansen pieces, including the Series 7 chair and the PK22 lounge chair. All the pieces of the collection are upholstered in fabrics from ANOTHER ASPECT archives that highlight the approach of transforming the existing resources rather than creating new ones with virgin materials. The collection combines timeless designs with responsibility towards the environment.
The Series 7 chair maintains its structural plywood shell but is softened with the upholstery in muted and natural tones. Meanwhile, the PK22 plays between the steel design and soft upholstery. The textile seats introduce a relaxed and organic outline of the model. Here, the focal point is organic materials and muted aesthetics with cotton, wool, and recycled fabrics due to their low environmental impact.
The color palette favors earthy tones, combining ANOTHER ASPECT’s fabrics and Fritz Hansen’s Scandinavian modernism. The labels are kept subtle, integrated into the upholstery without distracting from craftsmanship and materiality. The collection pieces blend seamlessly into the modern minimalist interiors with muted furniture.
