Camping can be very rewarding and fulfilling, but it does come with its own set of challenges, one of which is accommodation. A camper trailer offers a lot of promise in this regard, but its compact interior struggles to accommodate multiple people comfortably. RTTs are an option too, but they’re often heavy to carry and expensive to buy. This is where the Arcadia 4P camping tent enters the frame.
Arcadia 4P is neither as spacious as Snow Peak’s Land Nest Shelter nor does it match the grandeur of the Zeeka tent; it is somewhere in between. Currently crowdfunding on Kickstarter for $249, the Arcadia 4P tent is designed to tackle common camping woes like cramped spaces, complex setups, and flimsy materials. But the winning aspect here is its modularity.
The tent boasts six modular configurations. Its dual-awning system, with convertible vestibules at the front and back, expands usable space. These awnings can be propped open for shaded hangout areas, zipped shut for weather protection, or connected to a vehicle’s trunk or side door for a seamless indoor-outdoor experience.
The modular rainfly adds further versatility, allowing users to pitch it alone as a canopy-style shelter for lounging or cooking, or attach the tent underneath for full protection. Courtesy of six modular modes (as highlighted on the manufacturer’s website), campers can customize the setup based on weather, terrain, or personal preference, making it ideal for everything from car camping to backcountry adventures.
Beyond boasting its modular configuration prowess, the tent offers a six-foot-three-inch stand-up height, ensuring ample headroom for adults to move comfortably without hunching. Its full-height design optimizes every inch of space, providing a roomy interior for up to four adults and gear, or two to three people with extra room for pets or equipment.
The Arcadia 4P’s durability comes from its A-frame structure with pre-attached aluminum poles, enabling a solo setup in just five minutes. The all-season tent features a full-coverage rainfly and sturdy materials to withstand rain and wind.

Other features include a mesh skylight and four large mesh windows that ensure excellent ventilation and breathtaking views of the night sky. A built-in cover lets you block out sunlight for sleeping in, while the A-frame design delivers rock-solid stability in windy conditions. Not to mention, its freestanding structure allows setup on any terrain without stakes if needed.
The tent comes in two-colour options, Army Green and Sand White (a soft beige), each offering a stylish aesthetic that blends into natural surroundings. The Arcadia 4P is currently in the crowdfunding stage with pre-orders available on Kickstarter for $249.
