Electric campers are gaining great momentum this year, and a standout example is the Germany-based ARI 458 Pro. This electric vehicle is known for extreme flexibility as it can be customized with over 30 body variants, including a specialized “micro-camper” version. Measuring 12.5 feet long and 4.9 feet wide, the camper version is being presented as one of the smallest motorhomes in Germany.

Despite its compact footprint, it can be equipped with sleeping, cooking, and water systems for optimal mobile living. Owing to its compact dimensions, the camper can easily maneuver narrow urban roads or remote parking spots. The camper combines a space-saving design with well-thought-out functionality to maximize flexibility in everyday life and when traveling.

The ARI 458 Pro, featuring an alcove-style body, becomes a great foundation for converting into a micro camper. The base vehicle comes with pre-integrated power supply, solar system, and water systems, so you only add things that meet your own requirements. You can include a bed, a table, a kitchenette, and other necessities to meet your particular needs.

As highlighted by Techeblog, the camper has about six feet of headroom and approximately 30 square feet of area inside. The interior can be individually adapted to different requirements. You can turn it into a minimalist solution or a fully equipped compact motorhome with sleeping, cooking, and storage space. As evident from the video, there is space to accommodate a huge bed inside that can sleep two people. Below it is a platform that hides storage, or may be the kitchenette unit.

The camper uses a single 15-kilowatt electric motor that produces 20 horsepower with a top speed of 43 mph. You can go for a 15kWh battery, which can run for 75 -112 miles, while a larger 23.5kWh pack can offer 143 miles.

As for the driver’s cabin, it has two seats, power windows, central locking, a digital display, a reversing camera, and Bluetooth connectivity. There are also options to add air conditioning or a trailer to tow some light gear if needed.

The Ari 458 Pro electric van is priced at €30,000 (about $35,000), and you can even get an expensive base model that includes necessary features straight out of the box.
