ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has expanded its Strix OLED range of gaming monitors with the new Strix XG27AQDMG Gen2, XG27ACDMS, and XG27AQDMES models. The brand says these 27-inch monitors offer elite OLED performance and make high-end gaming visuals accessible to more people. While they all share a 1440p resolution and 0.03ms GTG response time, they differ in terms of panel technology, brightness, and refresh rate.
The main highlight is the Strix XG27ACDMS, which features a semi-glossy QD-OLED panel that reaches 1000 nits of peak brightness and an impressive 280Hz refresh rate. With onboard DisplayPort 1.4 (DSC), HDMI 2.1 ports, and one USB-C with 15W power delivery, it becomes perfect for versatile gaming setups.
The ROG Strix XG27AQDMES uses the same 27-inch QD-OLED panel with a specialized semi-glossy finish. It lowers the refresh rate to 240Hz and the brightness to 400 nits. For connectivity, it includes DisplayPort 1.4 (DSC) and two HDMI 2.1 ports. This monitor excludes a USB-C port to lower its price, Notebookcheck highlights. It serves as a great entry point to enjoy the capabilities of QD-OLED display technology.
Lastly, the Strix XG27AQDMG Gen2 model stands out by using a TrueBlack Glossy WOLED panel with a zero-haze optical layer and anti-reflective stack. It delivers a brilliant peak brightness of 1300 nits. Connectivity options include DisplayPort 1.4 (DSC), two HDMI 2.1 ports, and a USB hub.

These ROG OLED gaming monitors also come with advanced AI enhancements.
