Every girl loves to wear a beautiful crown and Lauren Hom made it possible for everyone. A New York based artist, illustrator, designer, and letterer, she was born in California and currently lives in Brooklyn.

She runs a design Studio named “Hom sweet Hom” where she works hard and creatively for clients like, Starbucks, AT&T, YouTube and TIME. Her focus areas are branding, typography and food designing.

Lauren is talented person who loves to experiment and create new things with food items. Recently, Hom has made a series of handmade edible crowns that are delicious, sweet, and looks marvelous. She wore the food crowns and did an amazing photo shoot with them.

 Hom said;

Playing off of the flower crown trend, I created a series of decorative (and edible!) Hand pieces made out of bread, snacks, and other carby delights.

Lauren also loves nature and portrays it in her sketches, tattoos and wall paintings. To know more about her work, you can follow her on Instagram.

No. 7 from my #flourcrowns series: two-bite vanilla cupcakes and raspberries from @wholefoods plus rainbow sprinkles from the 99¢ store ??? What are the cutest/prettiest desserts you know of & where can I find them? (?dress is vintage from @blitzlondon and ?lipstick is @sephora cream stain in Vintage Rosewood 41)

No. 14 from my #flourcrowns series: mini strawberry angel food cakes, cookies from @traderjoesfood, and milk and strawberry pocky ??? ?P.S. NEED UR HELP: just found out @ruffles copied this idea for their social media channels which is super lame. I’m not even mad…I just want some chips. I’m gonna bug them online until they send me a lifetime supply of chips because Grandma always told me, “you miss 100% of the chips you don’t ask for.” ?? If you want to help me, leave a comment on their posts telling them to send me chips lol. ✨If it works, I will share my chips with you all.✨ Thank you in advance for supporting my art and appetite ☺️?

No. 12 from my #flourcrowns series: a sesame bagel, mini burger buns, and pita bread ??? I like to post the carb-iest crowns on Sunday mornings to visually help everyone’s hangovers. No need to thank me, just trying to be a good internet friend ✌??? (Pssst…watermelon dress from @reformation and eyebrow game ? thanks to @wander_beauty brow pencil and @glossier boy brow gel)

No. 10 from my #flourcrowns series: pizelles, stroopwafels, milk flavor pocky, honey nut cheerios, and a madeleine cookie. ✨You may now refer to me as the Gluten Goddess✨ Speaking of gluten…I want to make a crown suitable for all of my gluten-free friends! ??What are your favorite gluten-free products that would look good on my head? ? Someone offered me a @glutinofoods chocolate covered pretzel a few months ago and it was delightful. Then again, all chocolate covered pretzels are delightful. ? (Got this dress custom made in Hoi An, Vietnam & lipstick is @sephora cream stain in Vintage Rosewood 41 ?)

No. 8 from my #flourcrowns series: blueberry mini muffins (the kind you go to eat 1 and end up eating 16) ?? I can’t wait to wear this to Challahpalooza this summer. Music festivals are always like “NO OUTSIDE FOOD” but if you wear one of these, you can be like “it’s not food it’s art let me express myself” ???Why wear a flower crown when you can wear a flour crown? ✨?? (?dress is vintage found in @ebay and ?lipstick is @sephora cream stain in Flame Red 18)

I told him I was doing the reverse Atkins diet. He laughed politely ??? Follow the project on Tumblr with the link in my profile or at flourcrowns.com ✨?? (Dress is from @reformation, lipstick is @sephora cream stain in Flame Red ??)

No. 2 from my #flourcrowns project: Croissant Debutante ?? Those roses are made of white bread that I flattened with a rolling pin, cut into petals, and smushed together (thanks @pinterest) ? What foods do YOU want to see me turn into flour crowns? ✨Comment below or tag your favorite food/snack brands and bakeries I should check out.✨ May your day be as delicious as the bread on my head. P.S. dress is from @reformation ? See more with the link in my profile or at flourcrowns.com ??

Here are some virtual crackers to combat that hangover ? (But really go get yourself some crackers.
