Scandinavia’s most anticipated gathering, 3daysofdesign, is one of the biggest events that catches attention globally. It is the long-standing cadre of Scandinavian creativity and craftsmanship that makes this event so special. For design lovers, it is the time the year to discover what is new and trending in Scandinavian design. This year, with the theme “Keep it Real,” the event once again brought together leading brands, emerging talents, and enthusiasts from around the world to share their unique vision through thoughtful, original work. Here are some of our favorites from 3daysofdesign 2025, including furniture and lighting.
Palma Pouf Series

There is no reason that this Palma pouf series by British-born Ghanaian designer Kusheda Mensah, in collaboration with Hem, should not be praised for its unique design that can make a focal point anywhere. It features three sculptural forms designed for perching, parking, and lounging. These upholstered seats bring visual interest and comfort to wherever it is placed. The designer believes unusual, relaxed seating helps people talk more openly and thoughtfully.
Jack Portable Lamp

Tom Dixon Studio launched the JACK lamp in a portable version at the 2025 3daysofdesign. Inspired by coastal tetrapods and originally handcrafted from metal bowls, it was one of Tom’s first forays into plastic, and it is still quite popular. Fully IP65-certified for outdoor use, it casts a soft matte glow that is both sculptural and functional.
Banet Lounge Chair

Dutch startup Aifunghi came up with a unique idea of creating attractive mycelium furniture, and the Banet Lounge Chair is a great example of it. The seating is made from mycelium composite and covered with wool or vegan cotton batting. It is distinguished by well-defined curves and sumptuous upholstery made from natural textiles.
F300 Lounge Chair

Designed by famous French designer Pierre Paulin in 1967, the iconic F300 chair by Gubi is one of the most fancy furniture reissues from 3daysofdesign. Originally crafted in injected polyurethane or fiberglass, the lounge chair is now available in an engineered polymer HIREK, which is made using industrial plastic waste. Its sculptural design and refined elegance are still kept intact, as guided by Paulin’s family.
Bench for Two

First unveiled in 1989, Nanna Ditzel’s Bench for Two stands out wth its sculptural form and unconventional character. Over thirty years later, Fredericia is re-launching the iconic piece with Danish furniture brand A. Petersen. The relaunch includes the original version in black and three vivid new colors – red, yellow, and pink – reflecting Ditzel’s lifelong fascination with bold color palettes and expressive form. The most highlighted element is the graphic backrest with concentric circles punctuated by a single red dot.

The stainless steel surface of the chair reflects its surroundings to enhance the visual appeal.
Nola Lamp

Designed by Tom Fereday for Australian brand Nau Design, this unique table lamp combines soft forms with hard materials. It is made from hand-cast crystal glass or carved solid stone. With a quiet glow and a calming presence, the Nola Lamp adds a poetic touch to everyday moments.
Lia Armchair by GamFratesi

The Lia armchair by GamFratesi for Molteni&C looks inviting with its completely upholstered seat and backrest. At the heart of its design is a gracefully suspended seat, supported by a slender yet robust metal frame. The scythe-shaped oak armrests showcase the signature style of GamFratesi. The design is further elevated by a selection of fine upholstery, available in soft bouclé fabric or supple leather.
Artek and Marimekko Collection

Artek and Marimekko launched a limited-edition collection that merges the art of printmaking with wood-bending technology. These furniture pieces are distinguished by their top featuring a two-tone design. Motifs from the Arkkitehti series, originally designed by Maija Isola for Marimekko, have been applied to Alvar Aalto’s birch wood furniture.
Chant Portable Table Lamp

CHANT portable table lamp by Lee Broom is a hand-blown sculptural glass object that elegantly balances form and function. Suitable for indoor and outdoor use in wet and dry conditions, each lamp is made from glass cubes with a circle inside, inspired by glass bricks used in churches in the 1970s. The onboard battery offers a lifespan of up to 40 hours on its lowest setting. There are a total of four dimming options and six different variations.
Circuit-Sequence Ceiling Light

The Circuit-Sequence lamp, developed by Taiwanese designer Chialing Chang in collaboration with Zap Projects, is a set of lighting sculptures that balances tension and energy. It is an upscale model of a light bulb. This lighting sculpture uses a positive-negative circuit with industrial steel cables acting as both structural and conductive elements, creating a sense of tension and energy.
