The tiny house movement has changed the way we think about homeownership, while offering a sustainable, minimalist lifestyle without sacrificing comfort or style. Among the standout designs is the Blackstone tiny house. Designed by Texas-based tiny house firm Decathlon Tiny Homes, this model comes poised on a triple-axle trailer. Let’s take a look at what makes the Blackstone tiny house a remarkable choice for those looking to embrace the tiny house lifestyle.
Inspired by the company’s famous Athena model, Blackstone is a 32-foot-long tiny house on wheels. Measuring 8.6 feet in width, this home offers a spacious yet compact living environment, ideal for individuals, couples, or small families looking to downsize without compromising on quality. The additional length compared to the standard 24-foot Athena model provides extra room for enhanced features and creative interior layouts, making it a versatile option for various lifestyles.
The exterior of the Blackstone tiny house exudes modern charm with its sleek lines and customizable finishes. Options like T&G cedar exterior or smart siding allow owners to personalize the look, while features like F-WAVE roofing ensure durability and low maintenance. The design is both practical and aesthetically pleasing, built to withstand the severity of towing and diverse climates. The maker has coated Pure White and Peppercorn on the exterior walls.
Inside, the Athena Blackstone maximizes its 32-foot footprint with a thoughtful layout that prioritizes comfort and utility. The home includes a private ground-floor bedroom, storage loft, a full kitchen, a spacious bathroom, and a living space. A standout feature is the open-concept living area that is bright and airy, enhanced by large windows and optional skylights.
On the left-hand side is the main-floor bedroom, complete with a queen bed platform, built-in storage, and wardrobe space. This eliminates the need for loft access, making it ideal for those who prefer single-level living or have mobility concerns. One highlight of the main-floor bedroom is the black accent wall that stands out among other features.
On the right-hand side is the kitchen that comes equipped with essential appliances, including a refrigerator, cooktop, and a convection microwave. Some add-on options include a gas oven range and an under-counter oven. The countertop is finished in honed granite with a matte finish. It is to be noted that everything from appliances to accessories available in the kitchen is finished in black.

Lastly, we have a bathroom that includes a rain shower and a composting toilet. Above the bathroom, a storage loft provides additional space for belongings, keeping the living area clutter-free. Akin to a traditional tiny home, the Blackstone tiny house runs on a standard RV-style hookup.
The base price for the 24-foot Athena model starts at $79,500, with the 32-foot extension adding $13,050, bringing the starting price for a model like Blackstone to approximately $92,550 before additional upgrades.
While the exact cost of the Blackstone variant isn’t listed, a similar 32-foot Athena model named Penelope, which won Best in Show at the 2023 Colorado Tiny House Festival, was priced at $103,000 with select upgrades. This positions the Blackstone tiny house as a premium yet accessible option in the tiny home market.
