Compared to its predecessor, the new doorbell offers a 150-degree head-to-toe field of view to let you see guests and package deliveries clearly in a 1:1 aspect ratio – even in the dark with HD infrared night vision. It also upgrades from 1080p to a sharper 1440 x 1440 resolution to provide a clearer view of your front door. With the companion mobile app, you can easily see and talk to visitors in real time.
The improved battery power is achieved with the Blink Sync Module, which makes the battery last for up to two years. The Sync Module is a system hub that harnesses Blink’s chip technology to extend the battery life of the wireless doorbell.
The 2nd-Gen Blink Video Doorbell is easy to set up. You can install it wire-free or connect it to your existing doorbell wiring. If wired, it rings inside your home, and if not, you can use Blink Mini 2 as an indoor chime. You will also get alerts on the Blink app when someone presses the doorbell.
