Ohio-based tiny house manufacturer Modern Tiny Living (MTL) is known for creating beautiful tiny houses on wheels with minimalistic interiors and tons of smart storage hacks. The 24-foot-long Bofin Tiny House by MTL is yet another living proof of the builder’s aptness in providing affordable and comfortable compact housing for a vast clientele.
Named after an Irish island – beloved by the owner – the Bofin is built on a double-axle trailer and finished in engineered wood and capped by a steel roof. A glass front door opens into the mint green-clad interior, which is sleek, simple, and minimalistic.
The compact house features a clever layout – a trademark of MTL – with a light-filled elevated social area, tons of storage, a spacious loft, a gourmet kitchen, and a small bathroom. On the right side, the elevated living room is a storage heaven.
It provides generous seating space with integrated drawers and underfloor storage. There are bookshelves flanking the living area and the steps have drawers. It can even provide sleeping space if need be.
On the other side, a storage-integrated staircase leads to the spacious loft. The sizeable fully equipped kitchen will put any residential cooking space to shame. It features an oven, three-burner propane-powered stove, microwave, refrigerator, sink, washer/dryer combo, and a lot of mint green cabinetry. Past the kitchen lies the bathroom of the Bofin tiny house. Concealed behind a sliding barn door, the bathroom is efficient and compact. It features a toilet, a small vanity sink, and a shower.
There’s just one bedroom in this particular model, and it’s reached by a storage-integrated staircase. The sleeping space is a pretty typical tiny house-style loft bedroom with a low ceiling and a double bed.
