As the world embraces a new era of tiny living, it’s important to recognize that space limitations shouldn’t constrain comfort and luxury. There are mobile homes measuring 40 feet in length that struggle to accommodate more than two people. But some dwellings less than 20 feet in length manage to squeeze entire families without causing any discomfort. The Bondi tiny house designed by Australia-based Sunshine Tiny Homes sits on the latter side of the industry.

Despite its modest dimensions of 23.6 feet length and 8.2 feet width, the Bondi tiny house offers elegance, functionality, and spacious layout. Such configurations may seem very meager on paper, but the Bondi stands as a testament to the idea that a petite layout does not define its functionality or possibility.

The structural integrity of Bondi tiny homes is unrivaled. The micro-dwelling is based on a triple-axle trailer that constitutes a VIN plate, 4 jack legs, and electric brakes with a breakaway system, lights, and mudguards. The trailer sports a Bluescope steel frame exterior and a Colorbond roof. All these factors combined promise excellent durability and mobility on roads.

Inside, the tiny home features multiple lining options including plywood, VJ sheeting, cedar, pine, and more. It features a single-loft layout that comfortably houses two individuals, with ample space downstairs for a kitchen, bathroom, and living room.

The kitchen is equipped with a two-burner gas cooktop, a full-size Westinghouse electric oven, and range hood, ensuring culinary adventures are not limited by space. It has vinyl plank flooring that adds warmth underfoot, while LED recessed downlights illuminate the space efficiently.

On the right side of the kitchen is the living room of the house. The living room includes a sofa flanked by large windows, allowing the space to be bright and beautiful. Past the kitchen is the bathroom that exudes luxury with its enclosed shower and premium fixtures like a poly marble/Torbex shower base and Mondella tapware. It has a vanity sink, a toilet, and a laundry table with a washer/dryer and drawers tucked neatly underneath.

As aforementioned, the tiny house features a single bedroom. Access to the bedroom is gained via a storage-integrated staircase. The loft includes a bed, a side table, and a skylight for stargazing. The Bondi tiny home is priced at AUD 130,000 (roughly $87,000), reflecting the expensive gadgetry that went into it but still at a relatively affordable tag. Connected to an RV-style hookup, it offers optional upgrades like solar systems and home automation, inviting you to redefine your living experience.
