Bosch has launched its Personal AI Barista, powered by Amazon Alexa Plus, at CES 2026. The home appliance company has integrated its 800 Series VeroCafe coffee machines with Alexa Plus for added convenience. This upgrade, featuring Amazon’s voice assistant, brings hands-free, barista-style skills to the countertop coffee maker. The integration enables voice commands, allowing you to engage in natural conversations with the machine, as you would with a barista. Isn’t that something?
Through an Echo Smart speaker, you can speak to your countertop coffee machine. It will customize your drinks, routines, and preferences through natural conversations. The engineering teams at Bosch and Amazon have worked closely to fully integrate Alexa Plus with new capabilities, allowing you to control every aspect of the espresso machine.
According to Bosch, “Using natural language, users may now control every aspect of the espresso machine to formulate and improve daily coffee routines. The AI assistant… passes the command to the espresso machine… resulting in barista-level drinks, with all the personalization of a neighborhood coffee shop.”
With the Alexa Plus upgrade, you can ask your 800 Series VeroCafe coffee machine to make any drink from its extensive library, and it will get the job done at your voice command. The 800 Series fully automatic espresso machine works with Bosch’s Home Connect app to integrate with Amazon Alexa and other smart home services, offering you a hands-free barista-style brew at home.
Aside from Personal AI Barista, Bosch has debuted Bosch Cook AI at CES. It is designed to provide live guidance through the Home Concept app to help you prepare more complex meals. This intelligent system can orchestrate multiple Bosch appliances in tandem when you are prepping and cooking.
