Gone are the days of crispy, deep-fried foods in oil. We want the same amount of crispiness in a healthier version with barely any oil. The invention of air fryers has made this possible. Big kitchen appliance brands like Ninja and Philips have given some solid contenders in the market. Following the footsteps of these brands, Bosch Appliances has shocked fans by releasing its first-ever air fryer.
Bosch Series 6 Air Fryer comes at a time when healthy eating is gaining rapid momentum. The new air fryer is only available in the UK at the moment, but it is likely to reach the rest of the world by the end of the year. It isn’t as impressive as the recently launched Cuisinart TriZone Air Fryer & Oven, but it gets the job done to perfection at a much affordable price tag. Retailing for £159.99, the Bosch air fryer is currently available in the UK for a discount; you can steal it for £99.99.
The Bosch air fryer offers a 7.2-liter capacity and cooks with 95 percent less oil. It also cooks food up to 65 percent faster, helps you save time, and reduces energy usage by up to 70 percent. The capacity can fit up to five generous portions, making it ideal for a small family.
The appliance also comes with seven preset settings to make the cooking process even more effortless. Each preset guides you through cooking times and temperatures for different foods, including fish, meat, vegetables, and bread. This helps take the guesswork out of the process, offering every meal cooked to perfection.
The basket design and touchscreen controls might have been inspired by the likes of Ninja air fryers. The touch controls are at the top of the appliance, where you can customize time, temperature, and function. The air fryer also has a ‘shake alarm,’ letting you know when it’s time to shake things up. Besides, its see-through window makes keeping an eye on things easier.

The Bosch Series 6 Air Fryer comes with grilling trays and skewers, so you can double the cooking space. The set, basket, and inner grid are all removable and dishwasher safe, allowing quick cleaning. While it may not contain any bells and whistles, it is pretty great considering it is Bosch’s first air fryer. It helps the case that it is comparatively affordable.
